What You'll Do / Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate, experienced and motivated Site Reliability Engineer who has technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to lead, build, and run fault-tolerant and distributed systems to support our business. 

This position will be involved in the following businesses: 

  1. IXT, a B2B insurance core system solution for APAC insurance markets. 
  2. OneDegree HK, a B2C/B2B digital insurance platform for HK markets 
  3. Cymetrics, a B2B cybersecurity platform for APAC small-and-medium enterprise markets


  • Implement and continuously improve system reliability, availability, scalability, latency/performance, and efficiency through monitoring, alerting, and automation on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS 
  • Engage in capacity planning, software performance analysis and system tuning. 
  • Build and improve our CI/CD process and tools 
  • Define and track metrics to monitor and improve reliability. 
  • Partner with the engineering team to improve reliability and operational efficiency throughout the entire SDLC. 
  • Debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks. 
Required Qualifications


  • Experience programming in one or more of the following languages (ex. Bash, Python, or Go) 
  • Advanced knowledge in monitoring solutions (ex. Azure Monitor, ELK), alerting, auto-log interpretation, and ticketing system management. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience in cloud technologies (ex. Azure, AWS) 
  • Experience in the full SDLC of software. 
  • Strong knowledge of network topics, especially the security aspect. 
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD (ex. Gitlab CI) 
  • Large-scale production environment (Windows/Linux preferred) 
  • Experience with automation platforms like Ansible and Terraform 
  • Experience with orchestration tools, ex. Kubernetes 
  • Experience with source code version control systems, Git experience highly desired 
  • Experience with containers ex. Docker 
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive

Interview Process

  • 1st Interview: 2 hours, 1.5 hour meet with hiring managers + 0.5 hour with HR
  • 2nd Interview: 1 hour, meet with Taiwan Director + HR

Compensation commensurate with experience.
