What You'll Do / Responsibilities


• This role is critical to our company’s mission, as you will be the main point of contact for our customers and provide world class customer service

• Communicate with customers via social media, email, chat and phone

• Provide accurate product/marketing/account information to customers to resolve their issues

• Set up processes for assembling customers feedback and communicating this with our product team to improve OneDegree’s insurance experience

• Help write educational content and FAQ sections

• Build and scale a new team that owns the customer experience and works to exceed their expectations

• Provide support to other teams, including claims, policy admin, account management and product development

• Non-Selling and no cold/warm call required

• 5-day week, Night and Holidays shift is required, flexible working hours and location

Required Qualifications


• High school certification or above, university degree preferred. Fresh graduates are also welcome

• Have experience working in General insurance industry as customer support or customer-facing role will be an advantage

• Candidate must have IIQE paper 1 & 2

• Excellent communication skills, good command of both written and spoken Cantonese and English. Mandarin is an advantage.

• PC literate and able to type fast in both English and Traditional Chinese

• Well organized and good time management skills. Ability to streamline processes and prioritize issues, support multiple tasks and be responsive

• Customer-focused. Understand client pain points, communicate their concerns internally, and influence our product

• Remain calm in high-pressure situations. Positive attitude, patient with people and willing to learn - Self-starter and a good team player. Curious and interested in technology and new products

** Bonus: more experienced candidates will be considered as Manager, Customer Care
